Protox Therapeutics Inc. appoints Director of Investor Relations
Thursday, July 22, 2004 - Vancouver, British Columbia - Protox Therapeutics Inc. today announced the appointment of Mr. Terry Vanderkruyk to the position of Director, Investor Relations.
Mr. Vanderkruyk brings over 20 years of experience in the life science field to Protox. Most recently he held the position of Director, Business Development with VSM MedTech Ltd (TSX: VSM), a leading manufacturer of medical devices and imaging technology. Prior to this position, Mr. Vanderkruyk was the Manager, Corporate Communications for VSM with responsibility for investor and media relations and actively participated in equity market financings .
Mr. Vanderkruyk began his career in sales and marketing with the surgical products division of Johnson and Johnson Inc. Subsequent to Johnson and Johnson, Mr. Vanderkruyk founded and built a successful consulting business working almost exclusively with the medical, pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors.
