Interim Results on Prostate Cancer Trial to be Released Tomorrow Before Market Opens

Vancouver, British Columbia, January 17, 2007 – Protox TM Therapeutics Inc. (TSX-V: PRX) will hold a conference call to discuss interim clinical results for its ongoing Phase I prostate cancer study for PRX302. Dr. Fahar Merchant, President and Chief Executive Officer will host the call. A press release outlining the interim results will be disseminated tomorrow morning before market hours.
