Protox to Present at the Admetech Foundation Conference

Vancouver, British Columbia, September 17, 2007 – Protox Therapeutics Inc. (TSX-V:PRX) today announced that Dr. Fahar Merchant, President and CEO of Protox, will be presenting at the Fourth AdMeTech Foundation Conference in Washington, D.C. The conference is a multi-disciplinary forum where leaders of philanthropy, advocacy, government, industry, academia, media and communications will discuss innovative ideas and partnerships to expedite fundamental advances in cancer imaging, with prostate cancer as a model.  The goal of the AdMeTech Foundation is to shift prostate cancer care from the current era of blind diagnosis and treatment to the future of image-guided, minimally invasive and precisely targeted interventions. The presentation by Dr. Merchant entitled Minimally Invasive Image-Guided Delivery of Targeted Toxins for the Treatment of Cancer will take place at the L’enfant Plaza Hotel at 1:30pm EST on September 17, 2007.
