Protox To Present At Acumen Biofin Rodman & Renshaw 9th Annual Healthcare Conference

Vancouver, British Columbia, October 31, 2007 – Protox Therapeutics Inc. (TSX-V: PRX), a leader in advancing novel, targeted protein toxin therapeutics for the treatment of cancer and other proliferative diseases, announced today that Fahar Merchant, President and CEO of Protox, will present at the 9th Annual Acumen BioFin Rodman & Renshaw Healthcare Conference at the New York Palace Hotel on Wednesday, November 7 at 10:50 a.m. Dr. Merchant will present a corporate update, as well as provide clinical updates for the Company’s benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), prostate cancer and brain cancer programs.
